The Salon d’Automne proudly presents the works of 69 artists alongside 251 Japanese artists in the 24th Exhibition of Contemporary Art France-Japan, featuring over 500 artworks. This exhibition showcases the diverse artistic creations of both countries, emphasizing the Salon d’Automne’s commitment to artistic vitality and its enduring partnership with the CAEA.
The invited artists, totaling 340, represent various generations and artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, photography, engraving, and architecture. Their participation exemplifies the richness of contemporary art in France and Japan.
The exhibition, hosted at Tokyo’s prestigious National Art Center from August 10 to 20, 2023, provides an opportunity for visitors to explore a broad range of contemporary artworks, fostering cultural connections between the two nations.
